ABSTRACT

Teaching Mathematics Using Interactive Mapping is an innovative eBook in which readers work interactively with mapping activities, custom-designed for this book by Joseph Kerski, on the Esri server using ArcGIS Online, to understand and to master topics in mathematics which might have proven to be stumbling blocks to them in the past. Direct links, to that server, and to other sites of interest, are provided throughout this book; QR codes provided in a separate section at the end of the book provide a secondary route to major activities. Thus, mathematics tools and concepts work interactively with mapping activities.

Chapter 6 is entitled “Mathematics’ Foundations: Set Theory and Algebra.”
