ABSTRACT
Chapter 5 is written to illustrate beam analysis theory. It elaborates on the concepts of shear and moment diagrams, beam deflection, bending of beams, shear of beams and torsion of beams. Additionally, this chapter covers the curved-beam analysis theory.
