ABSTRACT
A project is initiated when an entity in the owner company initiates ideas based on needs. Once the ideas are identified, they are evaluated and shortlisted with inputs from the concerned stakeholders, to a few numbers. The main evaluation criteria are the strength of the business case for the project. Then, the project proponent prepares the required deliverables along with its initial cost estimate and Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects and presents the same to the review committee for go ahead.
