ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a case study of a company that used a governance methodology that aligns with the Strategic Information Technology (IT) Governance 2.0 Model. The Miratech team completed the 80,000-hour two-year tax assessment project on time and within budget, a feat any organization would be proud to achieve. Miratech accounts for its 99 percent on-time and within budget success through a relentless desire to apply best-in-class principles. The case study aims to help companies understand the complexities of delivering complex software development projects and applying a best-in-class methodology and associated tools to successfully implement technology projects to achieve a company’s strategic goals and objectives. Miratech has a robust collaboration, process, and metrics-based methodology and toolset-Agile Portfolio SystemTM that aligns with The Strategic IT Governance 2.0 model. The Agile portfolio System Tools include the four categories: Miratech Live Dashboard, Miratech Project Intelligence & Analytics, and Miratech Engineering Management System.
