ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a case study that shares how the Chief Information Officer and his team reviewed the Assessment and developed a Strategic Information Technology (IT) Governance 2.0 maturity plan. Developing a plan to improve the maturity of your Strategic IT Governance 2.0 competencies is a four-step process. The chapter explores two steps: Reviewing the prioritized order and make necessary adjustments due to company, regulatory, or other factors that would change the prioritization order; and Developing a plan to include deliverables, timelines, milestones, roles/responsibilities, continuous improvement process, etc. Planning for implementing a project that improves the maturity of the Strategic IT Governance 2.0 competencies requires thought and focus. Every company has a different culture that impacts the processes, activities, roles, and responsibilities of personnel. The Strategic IT Governance 2.0 Maturity Assessment focuses on the two distinct areas that impact project success. The first is Business Value and the second is Process Efficiency.
