ABSTRACT
Today more than ever, we are realising that for healthcare to be effective and efficient and provide strong clinical outcomes we need to understand key barriers to this all connected with literacy including health literacy, digital literacy and digital health literacy. People are indeed different and have varying degrees of understanding and technology skills but all require state-of-the-art healthcare delivery. This chapter serves to unpack some of the key issues around health literacy, digital literacy and digital health literacy.
