ABSTRACT

We will now discuss how the Green function for the free relativistic particle, via the path integral, can be described as a scaling limit of a statistical ensemble of paths and we will encounter the first example of universality of the scaling limit of geometries. In the following we will use units where https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> ℏ = c = 1 https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9781003320562/573084c4-5e38-4573-b4ce-5412e9a1c018/content/math2_1.tif" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"/> . These constants will then be left out of equations, which will simplify the notation. They can of course be reinserted at any point if needed.
