ABSTRACT
A ship, together with its engine room and experienced engineers, requires a set of important documents to sail safely and legally. A vessel can only travel from one foreign port to another with valid certificates and up-to-date records. In this chapter, we will briefly discuss the main logbooks and checklists used in the engine room.
