ABSTRACT

John ponders potential reasons people are reluctant to embrace change as he relates this knowledge to the manager that has been the least enthusiastic to embrace the changes initiatives at InSports. As John discusses his observations with the manager and the slow rate of change, the pair hone in on the transformed methodology, the new communications approach, the initiatives involving audit clients, and other changes that the staffer is uncomfortable with. They discuss the source of these feelings, how they have become roadblocks to the otherwise forward movement, and they find solutions. In the end, the manager agrees to support the process going forward.
