ABSTRACT

John coaches the team as they identify ways to improve the quality of audit reports by reducing their length and increasing their readability, usefulness, and flow. John also shared a tool to help writers increase collaboration, consolidate issues, and reduce the number of observations. He also guides the staff on using more appropriate language when referring to audit clients and issues identified during reviews. John instructs the team about the importance of taking time off and the need to focus on their wellness during their absence. To inject greater variety and improve participation and engagement, John changes the format of the team’s weekly meetings with very positive results.
