ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the field https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> ℝ ⋆ https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9781003325284/2bdd3096-1af8-4bac-8a43-bb6d3f558838/content/math1_3.tif" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"/> is introduced, and the basic multiplicative arithmetic operations: multiplicative addition, multiplicative subtraction, multiplicative multiplication and multiplicative division are defined and some of their properties are deduced. The basic elementary multiplicative functions are introduced and studied.
