ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a taxonomy of domains of expertise and their implications for the architect’s work processes. This taxonomy is approached through the phenomenology of the spaces of human experience, through which it seeks to find the deep meaning of the spaces in where all the experience of places and the means, through which they interrelate forming a phenomenal totality. The components and nature of the objective, subjective and virtual space are explored, until reaching the concept of “spheres of reality” which is analytically very useful to begin the research and action on communities and projects in their places of life, since this offers an ordering perspective on the nature of the phenomena that are taking place when a person experiences architecture.
