ABSTRACT

This chapter is dedicated to showing how through what is called in this book “pyramid of fullness”, it is possible to understand how the phenomenal experiences of people in their environments are the result of a life transit that leads them through steps of resolution of his personal history, which is closely related to places and how this passage of life can be used by designers in a powerful analysis tool to make good designs. In the final part of this chapter, we reflect on the ethos of architecture and what should be the deepest purposes of our activity in the face of the need to design and build environments that promote people’s well-being.
