ABSTRACT
A brief description of the cell structure and the main cell components is included in this chapter, as well as how the cells attach and interact with each other forming tissues and organs. Ultramicroscopic images taken with an electron microscope are included in this chapter, showing the structure of the main cell organelles. The cell division phenomenon (mitosis) is also described.
