ABSTRACT

Computer networks store much of the world’s information, and that data needs to be searched for and processed to be useful, while the information must also be kept in security to guarantee its integrity. Big data examples include the Internet itself, financial data sets, data from urban computing or business computing, data obtained from sensor networks in smart cities, and data from the Internet of things, to name a few. The Internet of Things consists of fusion of real world, or physical, with the virtual, or computational, which can allow perennial communication and productive interaction between human beings, animals, and objects. Computer networks are constantly under attack by attackers, often known as hackers or crackers. Network security professionals are concerned, therefore, with defining some objectives to guarantee the integrity of the systems. Today, digital printing is used as a biometric identification at ATM, to release money or provide services, to open doors, and to guarantee the integrity of electronic voting.
