ABSTRACT
This chapter shows the applicability and the effectiveness of the proposed flow by describing two case studies. The case studies focus on the tools used and their interactions in order to emphasize operative issues. The functional simulation represents the checkpoint for the functional correctness of the system specification. The load estimation task requires the performance estimation data provided by the co-estimation step and a timing simulation. A new system-level timing co-simulation has been performed to check the consistency of the data provided in the last step of the high-level flow, adopting the back-annotated data instead of the system-level estimation ones.
