ABSTRACT
The configuration file in Figure 11.1 must be present for OTA-IP; the identifier and detailed content is somewhat proprietary for a given SIM manufacturer, and has been presenting in most SIM cards since 2010. It may be provided directly by the manufacturer at order or later updated by OTA SMS. This file is mandatory for HTTPs or BIP/CAT-TP whether it is network initiated by an SMS-MT or SIM initiated with a poll Applet. For SIM card initiated connection, the IP of the OTA server must be initialized in the parameter Data Destination Address, which allows the Port; otherwise, the parameters can also be overwritten and provided in the triggering SMS-MT of the next section which uses 192.168.2.118.
