ABSTRACT
To provide a service continuity to the security forces, the simplest solution is to have a rather classical central EPC core network with these additions and also the WiFi access so that the PMR services can be used in police and firemen stations. VoLTE becomes an evidence because the simplicity and performance of the infrastructure which will soon be generalized will entail cost reductions, and this is a major concern for the security forces moving from proprietary technologies and networks to LTE. Also VoLTE terminals do not need the provisioning of a SIP client which choice by the customer is broad with rather frequent defects and for some recent models, depend of a proxy notify server to be waken up when they idle to save power.
