ABSTRACT
Many researchers and their supervisors may wish to do some exciting research and find the writing and submission of manuscripts to be distracting. On the other hand, there are others who seem to be doing research simply to publish their work. This chapter investigates the need for publishing and how to determine a suitable balance.
