ABSTRACT

Based on the distinction between theory and practice, school culture can be described in two respects of system subject and executive subject. At present, the subject of school culture assessment in our country is primarily governments and schools. So government is usually the system subject of school culture assessment and the executive subject is mostly a group of assessment experts consisted of educational supervisory personnel. To a large extent, it is influenced by the nature and type of the school culture assessment to decide the subject of school culture assessment. Generally speaking, the system and executive subjects of administrative supervision assessment on school culture are usually the government and the assessment team of experts entrusted by the government respectively. Moreover, it is often conducted by external and social groups, such as cultural institutions, parents, communities, foundations, with intermediaries or customers as the system subject and education consultants as the executive subject.
