ABSTRACT
Most women can’t find jobs in computer science. The only thing they can do is teach and it probably won’t even be in computer science, it’ll be math, English, or history. If the school does need a computer teacher, it won’t be for a very technical curriculum, but to teach how to use program packages such as Microsoft Office. Currently, in Afghanistan, there is not a lot of awareness about technology and little encouragement for women to go into any technical field. The majority of young people have smartphones, but Internet penetration is only seven percent. On mobile, it’s a good market and connectivity is steadily improving throughout the country. With blockchain technology, the key factor is the Internet. The telecommunications sector in Afghanistan has really improved with 3G Internet expanding.
