ABSTRACT

Cybersecurity professionals work in teams on many occasions. This chapter shows some examples of visual work forms that teams can use in meetings to solve problems, to generate new ideas, or to design new processes or systems. Visual collaboration techniques are helpful during such occasions. Graphic recording is the practice of documenting key thoughts and ideas in real-time, summarizing what's happening in the room and transforming it into visuals and words. It creates a visual memory of a meeting or a presentation. North wave visualizes business processes using a Lego Train Track. These processes are controlled by employees, protected by Northwave's security operations center and, eventually, disturbed by a malicious party. The derailment of the company or business process through a hack is a visual representation of a cyber security incident.
