ABSTRACT

This chapter explores and evaluates the criteria and sub-criteria using the mixed Multi-Criteria Decision-Making technique (MCDM) to extract and compare the adoption features when it comes to deploying cloud computing services in the healthcare sector. Shannon brought entropy into the realm of information theory in 1948. The entropy technique is an objective weighting approach that is based on the notion that assigning outcomes with a more uniform probability leads to increased uncertainty about the outcomes. The purpose of the PROMETHEE II technique is to provide a ranking of alternatives that arranges the options that have been examined in descending order of preference, beginning with the option that is favored the most. The framing of the decision-making issue is the first step in the PROMETHEE procedures. This chapter explains the necessity of adopting cloud computing in the medical and healthcare sector along with their challenges and explores and evaluates the criteria and sub-criteria using the mixed MCDM technique.
