ABSTRACT
The risk management (RM) step of Risk Source Identification is developed. Distinction is made between a risk source and a risk. Various methods or tools by which risk sources might be identified are listed. Qualitative and quantitative approaches are discussed. Risk source identification is remarked to be the Achilles heel of risk management.
