ABSTRACT
This chapter provide guidance on how to collect samples of civil engineering media that an experimenter may need to test. Each type of media is sampled in a different way from the other forms. Sample collection sizes, containers, preservatives, and holding times are discussed, and tables in the appendix are referenced for detailed data.
