ABSTRACT
The use of herbicide in crop and non-crop situation is increasing day by day. Besides, to judge the efficiency of herbicides as well as weed control methods, many indices are developed. Calculate the amount of knockweed 36 EC required to be mixed per tank, if the capacity of sprayer tank is 12 litres. Documenting the weed species present in different fields allow comparisons with past and future surveys. Weed control covers a vast area in Agronomy. The use of herbicide in crop and non-crop situation is increasing day by day. Besides, to judge the efficiency of herbicides as well as weed control methods, many indices are developed. Spraying is the most common method of application of herbicides. Calibration of sprayer is pre-requisite for safe and effective control of weeds. On the other hand, overdose will affect the crop in crop land situation and will increase the costs in non-crop situation and will accumulate toxic residues in soil.
