ABSTRACT

Both 3D printing and plastic injection moulding are practical solutions for generating complicated plastic parts and components among today’s businesses. Despite being initially seen as rival technologies, each of these strategies is now widely acknowledged to have specific benefits and even work well when combined to improve productivity. 3D printing and plastic injection moulding are beneficial techniques in and of themselves. Engineers now have the ability to design plastic objects at their computers and have them come to life in a couple of hours thanks to 3D printing. On the other hand, injection moulding is the preferred method for quality and affordability. It is frequently used to efficiently and dependably create large quantities of intricate plastic patterns. Therefore, we are comparing which one is better for complicated geometry and mass production in this chapter.
