ABSTRACT

Doctors, for all their being health professionals, ironically lead some extraordinarily unhealthy lives, both through poor personal habits and through compulsion, the one often leading to the other. And it’s at times like these that you may need a certain confectionary, but chiefly those bodily comforts generally not denied the other citizens of the developed world. Like food. Water. And sanitary facilities. And some sort of apparatus to rest your gluteus. And they’re a very quick fix to restore yourself. Some people may find it difficult to justify the extra time they spend on themselves. For we’re all supposed to be so altruistic that our own needs seem immensely less important than the patient’s. Scout out non-awkward rest portals too, somewhere you can get some quiet time from all the craziness. A few minutes there can really improve your mental health. Libraries are often great places but it depends on the Institution.
