ABSTRACT
Approximation theory is an important area of mathematics and has many practical applications in computation. The main objective of this section is to show the use of Bernstein polynomials for approximating continuous functions on a closed bounded interval [a, b]. This includes the use of the binomial theorem, the basic fact of which is presented.
