ABSTRACT

This chapter covers the team-building portion of being a director. It includes tools for understanding and establishing values, interests, and influences, fostering creativity and growth, as well as bringing on new team members and ultimately passing the torch.Everything up to this point has been largely focused on either process or product. But at the heart of everything are the people. By starting with expectations, it put the people first as much as it did the product. But it is important to recognize that what really sets your project apart are the people on the team. Their specific sensibilities are what ultimately power and realize the vision. So it is important that we come full circle and finish where we started. By talking about the people.
