ABSTRACT
The chapter focuses on the use of cross-laminated timber (CLT) rather than the traditional timber products which are well described in standard texts. Modified timber and a range of non-standard emergent timber and related products are described including hempwood and cardboard tubes. The fire properties of treated and untreated timber are listed.
