ABSTRACT

In order to focus on the multi-objective optimization design problems in control, signal processing, communication, and social systems in the following chapters, multi-objective optimization problems of linear and nonlinear stochastic systems are introduced in this chapter. For convenience of illustration, the MOPs of multi-objective H2/H∞ stabilization control design problems of linear and nonlinear stochastic systems are introduced as design examples. Both of them are transformed into linear matrix inequality–constrained MOPs. Finally a reverse-order MOEA is also introduced to efficiently solved LMI-constrained MOPs. Based on the design methods of MOPs in linear and nonlinear stochastic systems, it is easier to tackle the complex designs of MOPs for control, signal processing, communication, and cyber-social systems in the following chapters.
