ABSTRACT

Farmyard Manure is the manure prepared by using the mixture of dung and urine soaked litter by microorganisms. Composting is a way of storing the available organic materials. One cannot use the different organic matter as and when they available. Undecomposed organic matter will not be homogenous and will have very little impact on the soil properties. Fish manure contains variable quantities of oil which is readily used by the soil bacteria and the manure ingredients become readily available for the use of crops. Partially decomposed farmyard manure may be enriched with phosphorus to supply the required quantity of phosphorus to the crop. The finished compost may be enriched with phosphorus to supply the required quantity of phosphorus to the crops.
