ABSTRACT

The world is rapidly changing and resources are running out at an alarming rate. In this context, the need for smart and renewable technologies as well as related products is rising. To keep up with these new advances, highly efficient energy/catalytic application routes must be considered to ensure long-term resource availability for future generations. When it comes to the era of nanoscience, where all the devices and technologies are becoming smart and smaller in size with improved properties and application of SNM in energy and catalytic applications turns out to be significantly important. This chapter discusses the overview of the application of SNM in photovoltaics/solar cells, battery and fuel cells and renewable energy with some examples.
