ABSTRACT
This chapter looks specifically at the musculoskeletal system and associated problems in the foal and developing horse. It covers both congenital musculoskeletal abnormalities and acquired musculoskeletal abnormalities, each condition defined, the aetiology or pathophysiology described, the clinical presentation given, then differential diagnosis and management explored. The prognosis is given for each.
