ABSTRACT
The dynamic political, demographic, social and economic changes taking place around the world are causing an increase in demand for energy, which in turn contributes to the need to seek out new possibilities for obtaining and using it. Thus, the paradigm of modern energy systems is changing, with an increasing tendency to abandon the hierarchical structure of the energy industry in favour of solutions of a dispersed nature, using endogenous resources, owned and managed by local communities.
