ABSTRACT
Murphy's Law tells us “if anything can go wrong, it will”. Risk assessment provides us with additional insights about how likely it is to go wrong, and what it will cause as a consequence. Risk assessment will provide quantitative inputs to assist with engineering design. Introducing the concept of information gain, causal risk assessment can be performed based on Wang Entropy.
