ABSTRACT

In Chapter 7, we look ahead to the future of composite material durability. Building on the insights and methodologies from preceding chapters, we explore uncharted possibilities. Our focus spans from developing high-performance CFRPs using novel materials to quantifying hidden damage through thermal measurements and advanced simulations. Bridging nanoscale to macroscale phenomena, we contemplate the potential of entropy-based principles, neural networks, and molecular dynamics for designing optimized composites. This chapter ignites further research, pushing us to evolve from foundational knowledge to the forefront of composite material innovation and application.
