ABSTRACT

To maintain good health, people need access to clean drinking water. The intake of water from contaminated drinking sources, particularly in underdeveloped and developing countries, has been linked to a number of diseases. Therefore, one of the first and most important steps to improve a community's quality of life is ensuring that everyone has access to safe drinking water. Researching the effects of harvested rainwater is essential, especially in areas with limited access to pipe-borne clean water. This type of research has the potential to improve public health by improving access to clean water sources. This chapter will focus on the objectives, hypotheses, and structure of the book.
