ABSTRACT
The third chapter sets out a discourse to identify and evaluate the impact of EWEs on critical infrastructure and how the communities and countries respond to such events. A detailed premise of the impact on critical infrastructure through case examples of EWEs in the past decade is illustrated. The chapter also streamlines the focus of the study towards impacts of climate change and EWEs on human health and the healthcare infrastructure.
