ABSTRACT
The fifth chapter identifies the disruption caused in healthcare facilities due to EWEs and their uncertainty of occurrence. The aim of the chapter is to analyse the enforcement of resilience in the healthcare infrastructure, which helps achieve the continuity of services and minimises disruption. For this, the resilience and redundancy in structures is studied in detail, concluding with how to mitigate the impact of disruption on services.
