ABSTRACT
To understand the evaluation methodology of the risks to the healthcare infrastructure due to EWEs, the sixth chapter identifies the risks during hazards/EWEs and describes the processes of risk assessment, risk probability, risk quantification, risk analysis, and risk evaluation, useful in formulating a risk management framework. The chapter also includes the features and indicators of a resilient health system and studies resilience in relation to critical and health infrastructures. This chapter concludes with the concept of loss potential through the literature, observations, and derivation.
