ABSTRACT
Chapter IV A, section 33 or u/s or subsection of 33 and 34 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, regulates Ayurvedic, Siddha, and Unani drugs. This chapter describes the Drugs Technical Advisory Board Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani drugs and Consultative Committee for Ayurvedic, and Siddha and Unani drugs, and their constitution and functioning. Also, the definition of spurious, misbranded drugs, and legal proceedings with the power of magistrates and penalties all are described.
