ABSTRACT

Nodes are an integral part of the application of Materials and Textures. There are, however, many other uses for Node Systems. For a basic demonstration a Render of the Scene in the 3D Viewport Editor will be combined with an Image saved on the computer. This will be accomplished using Blender's Compositing Node System. In the default Blender GUI Screen Header the readers will find the Compositing Workspace with five Editors displayed. The Dope Sheet and Timeline Editors are included since Compositing applies to Animation as well as still Scenes. The Texture Node Editor is accessed from the Editor Type Selection Menu. As with Material Texture Painting, a Texture has to be painted over an existing Texture. The Geometry Node Editor is accessed from the Editor Type selection menu in an Editor Panel. At the time of writing Geometry Nodes are under development and will no doubt require a dedicated publication to describe the comprehensive scope of the subject.
