ABSTRACT
Loss of rigidity and distortion in the foundation, Geometrical configuration of the machine body, leading to misalignment effecting productivity and quality of output. Ovens, normally smaller than furnaces, are used for heating, drying, baking and curing, both for metallic and non- metallic work-pieces; the heating source can be electrical resistance heaters, oil fired burners, gas burners; most of them are designed for limited duty-cycle. Operating problems are likely to be similar to those listed for furnaces, but in a smaller scale. Gauges, Calipers, Micro Meters, Dial Gauges, Torque Wrenches, Rpm Counters are sensitive precision devices and are not supposed to be serviced/ repaired by the user industry; with repeated use/aging, these are prone to loose accuracy; they are supposed to be got recalibrated from accredited Agencies/ Laboratories. Regular attention is required to avoid/effectively control within safe limits, gas leakages from the distribution pipe lines and the consuming points; colour-coding done correctly.
