ABSTRACT
The exercises for the quantitative fit testing are performed under sedentary conditions with little or no body movements. The activities performed by the respirator wearer in the workplace involve many body movements. In order to simulate real work situations, exercises for the QNFT should be performed with body movements, or under a high work rate, to induce leakage at the respirator faceseal.
