ABSTRACT

The chapter investigates the applicability of the developed Spatial Grasp Model and Technology for supporting integrity of large distributed systems, reviewing existing works on integrity, security, and recovery of distributed systems. It shows how to use SGL for distributed topology representation, creation, and copying and how to create fully self-healing distributed topologies that can self-reconstruct after simultaneous failures of any nodes, thus providing a possible solution for a system’s immortality. The chapter concludes with the belief that SGT can provide high integrity of distributed dynamic systems unachievable by other models and technologies.
