ABSTRACT
Chapter 5 describes two versions of open-source software for the calibration of MGWR models. The first is MGWR 2.2, which is a GUI-driven package; the second is mgwr, which is a python-based code library that underlies MGWR 2.2. The chapter contains a description with examples of the use of various settings and outputs from both packages but with an emphasis on MGWR 2.2. We describe the use of the graphical user interface in detail, including the advanced settings options, with an example of county-level voting patterns from the US 2016 Presidential election.
