ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the mandatory competency, Conflict Avoidance, Management and Dispute Resolution Procedures required to level 1. This covers various topics, including Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods, ways to avoid conflicts such as partnering and early warning systems and the role of the RICS in dispute resolution appointments.
