ABSTRACT
The progress of computational welding mechanics about welding distortion, in particular, welding-induced buckling of thin plates welding, and residual stress about the thick plate with high tensile strength steel was holistically reviewed. In addition, the advanced measurement method, FE computation approach, mitigation practice of welding-induced buckling, and evaluation approaches of welding residual stress and fracture performance of welded joint were all well introduced.
